About our foundation
Holiday Squad
Summer Holiday Squad: 20 July - 28 August 2026
Our Holiday Squad has a great range of free activities for children of primary school age running during the Easter and summer holidays. From sports with Newcastle United Foundation to cooking with Creative Kitchen, boxing skills with Alpha Boxing Gym to arts and crafts with ARTventurers, and from experiments with BIG SCIENCE to creative fun with Artee. there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Plus, each session comes with a free meal for participants.
ND/SEND/SEMH Friendly activities
We're hosting SEND/ND/SEMH friendly versions of our events supported by a team specialising in these areas.
Our holiday activities are inclusive and welcoming for children and young people with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities), ND (Neurodivergent) and SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs. An official diagnosis is not required to attend.
We understand that some children may experience challenges with emotions, anxiety, confidence, relationships, or regulation. Our sessions are designed to be flexible, child-led, and low-pressure, allowing children to join activities at their own pace, with access to a regulation space whenever needed.
While we do not provide one-to-one support, parents, carers, and support workers are welcome to stay and participate alongside their child if additional support is required.
Our aim is to create a safe, supportive environment where every child feels valued, included, and able to enjoy their holiday experience.
If your children do need additional support, please get in touch.
